Martin Taylor and that tackle.

Croatia International and Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva was the original victim and still is, but Martin Taylor is now also a victim.

The disgraceful response of of a number of fans both from England and abroad has completely blown an accidental challenge on the football pitch out of all proportions. Death threats have been mentioned in the last day or so that have been aimed at Martin Taylor, which in my opinion, and every other respectful football fan, is just plain idiocy.

There are other groups of supporters (mostly Arsenal supporters of course - which is understandable to an extent) calling for long-term bans against Martin Taylor, or even a life suspension. Get a grip! Accidents happen of the football field, this was clearly an accident. Some may say, "well look at this picture", "look at that angle", it doesn't change the fact that this challenge by a respected professional, is worthy of nothing more than a 3 match ban (if even that).

I know this is not going to change the mind of some that have convinced themselves otherwise, but take a look at this - http://www.d1g.com/video/show/1790408 - and tell me if you're views are still the same. This is not a counter argument in defence of Martin Taylor, it's just trying to show how hypocritical and subjective some peoples arguments are. If you still hold the same view that Martin is eligible for corporal punishment, then maybe you just need to watch more football, or simply give up, as football doesn't need arrogant and idiotic supporters like you around.

As for the death threats, these fans should be banned for life.
